On Tour Across the Heavens

Here at WorldWide Worship Center, praise and worship is held in the same regard as the teaching and preaching of the Word of God. We have services that are dedicated to the worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. During these services, the Holy Spirit has free reign to move in the gifting that the bible says God has given us. We invite you to join us every week as we lift His name on high and proclaim the great and wondrous personalities of the triune God. We hope to see you soon!

Just in case you have questions about worship, we chose a few of the most common questions that are most often asked. Read on and grasp the understanding of just how powerful and miraculous worshiping the King of Kings really is. Hallelujah!

What makes worship so special?

Worship is special because it is all about HIM, not about us! Your focus and all your attention is positioned on Him as the object of our desire!

Worship takes you on an intimate journey with the King, let's go there. In worship you begin to concentrate on who God is, and then, who you are in Christ. The attributes of God are then revealed to you as you begin to abide in His presence, and suddenly you begin to respond to the revelation. A hunger begins to stir deep inside for less of you and more of Him. As you begin to rest in His presence then you come to the realization, you have favor in His sight! Then you realize that you are in the secret place abiding in the shadow of the Almighty! All things of this world begin to fade and become insignificant in His presence as you lavish Him with your love and He extravagantly pours out His love for you.

What is worship and why is it different from praise?

Praise is designed for you and me to “enter in”. It’s during this time that the anointing comes. The ministry of praise increases the anointing in the service. Psalms 100:4 states we are to enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise.”
Worship is to get alone with God, and that is when His presence comes! It doesn’t matter if you are in a crowd or by yourself. It doesn’t matter what style of song we sing or what kind of voice we have.  Praise and Worship is all about the heart.

Praise brings the anointing and Worship brings the presence of God. In praise we are reminded of all the wonderful things that God has done for us, while worship is focusing on the person of the Lord. We should praise until worship comes. If we want Him, we need to worship until His manifest presence is revealed.

Why does praise and worship make a person feel so good inside?

Because we were created to worship God! When we worship God we are fulfilling the reason why we were created. That brings contentment and joy because we are in agreement with God. God comes to dwell or live in our praise and worship. Psalms 16:11 says; In His presence there is the fullness of joy and at His right hand are pleasures forevermore. In His presence there is joy and rest for your soul, there is His protection. There are also blessings that naturally come to us when we abide in His presence.

There is salvation and light (Psalms 27:1). The light symbolizes well-being or life; it also represents what is good, true, holy and salvation. To say “the Lord is my light” is to confess confidence in Him as the source of these benefits. My salvation, My SAVIOR is Jesus Christ. When we receive the true knowledge of Him being our salvation, we are free to experience His complete joy. His light gives you and me clarity of mind for all situations.  There is furthermore a sense of belonging knowing that we are sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus! According to Galatians 4:6 because we are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, Abba father. No longer being a slave but a son and an heir.

Where can I read about worship in the bible?

1 Kings – Solomon dedicating the temple
2 Chronicles 20: 1-29
The whole book of Psalms
Isaiah 25, 26, 42:10-13

We invite you to come and Praise and Worship with us on Saturdays and Wednesday. See you soon!
